DESCRIPTION:
French, Circa 1850, 8-day time & bell strike figural mantel clock, gilt bronze, movement marked "Farret".
CONDITION:
fire gilded ormolu case is in very clean condition with it's gilding surprisingly well preserved. The figure on the top may have had something in her hand that is now missing. Original porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. Pendulum and bell are missing, but are available from clock parts suppliers. This clock was most likely under a dome originally. Ht 11.5"
